The History

• The Gripwell Group, with factories in India & distribution center in Australia, has been a major manufacturer, exporter and supplier of Hand Tools & Hardware since 1948.
• In addition to the traditional Importer/Distributor customer base, Gripwell’s customers include leading Retail Groups in Europe, Australia & USA.
• In order to support Retail customers in sourcing product that does not fall in our traditional product range of Hardware & Tools, in 2012 Gripwell’s management established GRIPWELL SOURCING SOLUTIONS (GSS) with the explicit mandate of outsourcing product across different categories from India.

The Services

• Identifying suitable factory/vendor for Product Categories selected by Buyer
• “On-Boarding” Supplier/Factory (Factory Audits, Ethical & Social Compliances, Fair Trade Practices, Statutory Compliances and any other compliances as specifically required by Buyer.
• Negotiating best price & terms for the Buyer
• Arranging sampling
• Approval of Artworks, Packaging, Labelling, Barcodes etc.
• Production Follow up to ensure timely shipment
• In Production Inspections to ensure correct finishing, packaging and labelling
• Pre-Shipment Final inspection
• Co-ordinating shipment with Forwarder & all logistics back up, including container consolidation, if required.
• Once appointed, GSS will act as the Buyers Office in India.
• GSS Merchandisers as well as Administrative Staff will assist & support with any and all operations or tasks such as arranging factory visits, internal travel & Hotel bookings within India during India trips, secretarial work etc. and generally take care of all matters that Buyer may require.

The Charges

• GSS represents the Buyer and does not engage in any financial or commercial transaction with the Factory/Supplier.
• GSS is answerable to the Buyer, prices negotiated with the factory/supplier are on behalf of the Buyer and are the lowest & most competitive on offer.
• Services entail costs and GSS charges the Buyer a nominal fee for ALL services provided.
• GSS raises a Service Invoice on the Buyer after completion of each shipment.
• Invoices are payable by the Buyer upon presentation
